PURPOSE:To enable to accurately control a current by directly controlling a load current of a delta-connection cycloconverter. CONSTITUTION:The detected values of load currents IU, IV, IW are compared with the command values IU*, IV*, IW* to obtain deviations epsilonU=IU*-IU, epsilonV=IV* -IV, epsilonW=IW*-IW, the output of the first converter SS1 for forming a cycloconverter is controlled in response to the value of (epsilonU-epsilonV), the output voltage of the second converter SS2 is controlled in response to the value of (epsilonV-epsilonW), and the output voltage of the third converter SS3 is controlled in response to the value of (epsilonW-epsilonU). Thus, the load currents IU, IV, IW can be directly controlled, thereby performing an accurate current control. |
