PURPOSE:To improve the output voltage distortion of an inverter due to a nonlinear load by superposing a voltage proportional to harmonic waves on the output voltage of the inverter. CONSTITUTION:The output of an inverter 1 is supplied through a reactor 2 and a capacitor 3 to a nonlinear load 4 made of a rectifier. The secondary side output of a transformer 9 is supplied to the gate of the inverter 1 as the voltage control of the inverter 1, and applied to a harmonic wave filter 10. The filter 10 detects the harmonic components of the output voltage of the inverter 1, and the voltage proportional to the harmonic components obtained at the output of the filter 10 is superposed on the output voltage of the inverter 1. Thus, the harmonic components of the output voltage of the inverter are suppressed to improve the output voltage waveform distortion of the inverter due to the nonlinear load. |
