The invention relates to an apparatus for cleaning clothes, removing hairs, threads, pieces of fluff, etc. It consists of a casing, comprising a handle 2, of a motor 17 and of a brush 16. The apparatus may be battery- or mains-operated. It picks up the debris into the casing 3 which, like the brush, is protected by a cover 5.
