PURPOSE:To improve the corrosion resistance by pasting corrosion proof adhesive tape on a weld line in the axis direction before the corrosion proof adhesive tape is spirally wound on an outer circumference of a steel pipe with the weld line. CONSTITUTION:An adhesive tape 3 fed from an adhesive tape feed section is spirally wound on an outer circumference of a steel pipe 1 while a body of reovolution 6 is rotated completely synchronizing in the same direction as the direction of revolution of the steel pipe 1, and an adhesive tape 5 fitted to a bracket 16 of one section of the body 6 is pushed up on a weld line 2 by means of a pasting roller 20. Thus, the weld line 2 is completely covered with the adhesive tape 5, and the adhesive tape 3 is spirally pasted on the tape 5. Consequently, the corrosion resistance is improved because there happen no danger that clearances are not formed between the weld line 2 and the adhesive tape 5 and clearances are not also made up between the tapes 3, 5. |
