PURPOSE:To facilitate charging of a wedge by rotatably supporting a tooling unit, to which the wedge is supplied, and sequentially rotating it at every prescribed angle. CONSTITUTION:A wedge forming and charging device rotatably supports a base plate 70 of a tooling unit B through a bearing 69 onto a rotary table 54. A ratchet wheel 71 is secured to the plate 70, and the wheel is sequentially rotated at every prescribed angle by a feed lever 64 pressed by a cam 29. Further, a wedge forming unit D' has a pawl unit 21 elevationally movably supported, and a feed rod 62 is secured thereto. They are driven by a hydraulic motor 30. When the wedge material 19 is fed at every prescribed length to a shaping die 60, it is cut by a cutter 22, and formed in U-shaped section by the die 60. Then, the wedge 18 in the die 60 is fed to a feeding guide 61 in the unit B, and charged by a pushing rod 63 between wedge guides. Then, they are intermittently fed and charged sequentially in the prescribed number. |
