PURPOSE:To stabilize operation by forming a section, in which length measured toward the center from a contour line is specified, in a region in which first and second superconductor layers in a required tunnel junction type Josephson element are opposed mutually through a tunnel barrier. CONSTITUTION:A section in which length measured toward the center from its contour line is brought to once or more of the distance of the magnetic-field penetration of a tunnel juction type Josephson element is formed in a region in which superconductor layers 11 and 13 are opposed mutually through a tunnel barrier layer 12. Consequently, flowing currents do not change so much even when there is variance in the current density of the tunnel junction type Josephson element. Accordingly, a Josephson superconducting logic gate can be operated stably while the Josephson superconducting logic gate using the tunnel junction type Josephson element can be constituted easily. |
