PURPOSE:To enable to accurately control a current by directly controlling a load current of a delta-connection cycloconverter. CONSTITUTION:2-phase currents IU, IV of 3-phase currents IU, IV, IW supplied to a load are detected, respectively compared with command values IU*, IV* to obtain deviations epsilonU=IU*-IU, epsilonV=IV*-IV, the output of the first converter SS1 for forming a cycloconverter is controlled in response to the value of (epsilonU-epsilonV), the output voltage of the second converter SS2 is controlled in response to the value of (2epsilonV+epsilonU), and the output voltage of the third converter SS3 is controlled in response to the value of -(2epsilonU+epsilonV). Thus, the load currents I U, IV, IW can be directly controlled, without mutual interference. |
