PURPOSE:To rotate a picture with simple operation without requiring wide space by supporting rotatory a light spot scanning means in a light spot projecting direction and turning the means to a desired angle. CONSTITUTION:The angle designation of a cathode ray tube 1 is performed by a screen rotation operation section 6 and then a rotation control section 7 controls the rotation position of a rotation drive section 2. The rotation drive section 2 is rotated to rotate a rotation support member 3 supporting the cathode ray tube 1 at the same time and the cathode ray tube 1 is rotated to a position in response to the state of an object 9. Further, a rotation angle detection section 5 detects an angle rotation actually and the angle information is fed to the rotation control section 7. Then the rotation control section 7 discriminates whether or not the rotation position of the rotation drive section 2 is the rotation position designated from the screen rotation operation section 6 and controls the rotation drive section 2. |
