PURPOSE:To reduce the heat stress even if there is a large difference between the temperature of high temperature primary fluid which runs in gaps between inner pipes and outer pipes by a method wherein a double pipe is constituted to be suspended vertically. CONSTITUTION:Vertical inner pipes 4 are suspended securing the upper end of said pipes to a pipe plate 5 at an entrance room 2 of secondary fluid, and the lower end of said pipes are connected to a manifold at the lower end of a center pipe 7 through the intermediary of risers 6. Vertical outer pipes 9 are suspended securing the upper end of said pipes to a pipe plate 10 at a exit room 3 of primary fluid, and a vertical double pipe is composed by these inner pipes 4 and outer pipes 9 surrounding inner pipes 4. The heat stress is mitigated because in the above mentioned heat exchanger inner pipes 4, a center pipe and outer pipes are made so as the starting point of the heat extension is situated at one point of the low temperature and the heat extension is made free toward below. |
