The invention relates to a connecting-pin carrier as a handling and assembly aid for electrical connecting pins which are to be fitted in circuit boards. The carrier (10) consists of a card of cheap material, having adequate stiffness and thickness for precisely holding an arrangement of connecting pins (14, 16, 18) which are to be inserted into holes (26) in a circuit board (24). The connecting pins are pressed into correspondingly arranged holes in the carrier card, and the carrier card can be removed from the connecting pins once said connecting pins have been soldered to the circuit board. <IMAGE>
