The invention relates to a quick-fastening device for electrical apparatuses for snapping on to standard-profile supporting rails which are like cap profiles and have a slide which is acted on, on the base of the apparatus, by a spring, inwards towards the supporting rail, can be displaced at right angles thereto, and can be engaged, by means of at least one tab, with a free limb of the supporting rail, and have at least one further tab which is held on the base of the housing and can be engaged with the other free limb of the supporting rail. In addition, a further guide or holder is provided for the slide or the tab respectively and is arranged on the base of the switching apparatus in a direction which is offset through 90 DEG with respect to the first direction, so that the switching apparatus can be fastened to the standard-profile supporting rail just by repositioning the slide in a direction which is offset through 90 DEG .
