PURPOSE:To enable the measurement of 2-D coordinate at a high accuracy in a wide range by moving a TV camera horizontally or vertically so that the bright point at the measuring point always comes to the center of the screen of the camera to calculate the 2-D coordinate from the movement thereof. CONSTITUTION:A bright point is generated at the measuring point 2 on the surface of an object 1 by a laser light of a laser light generator 7. The bright point is taken with a TV camera 3 and an image signal is sent to a controller 6. The controller 6 generates a movement signal from a deviation between the bright point position and the specified position of the screen (for example, center of the screen) and drives horizontal and vertical servomotors 4 and 5 to move the camera 3 to let the bright point with the center of the screen. At this point, the movement is measured with angle detectors 8a and 8b to determine the 2-D coordinate with the controller 6. Thus, the 2-D coordinate can be measured at a high accuracy in a wide range. |
