A small apparatus (10) for water treatment, connectable to a water outlet, having a housing (15), which can be connected at its top to the water outlet (1), has an outflow (20) for the treated water in the bottom centre and which contains water-treating reagents (16) as granules, through which the water flows, in an annular chamber concentric to the water outlet. A horizontal partition (34, 34', 34'') closed in the interior is provided between the top (32) of the housing (15) and the chamber.
