The invention relates to a device for selecting digits for a numerical lottery bet. With the device, the digits of a bet are obtained as a result of chance. This is achieved by a method wherein the device consists of a closed hollow body in which are accommodated balls inscribed with the digits of the bet, the cavity of the device having a tubular, transparent extension which, as soon as it is directed downwards, receives the number of balls, arranged in sequence, which are necessary for the bet.
