PURPOSE:To obtain a color picture with good characteristic by outputting R, G, B signals being three primary color signals from a reproducing signal or a Y, R-Y and a B-Y signal by a demodulation circuit to drive directly a color display device by means of the three primary color signals. CONSTITUTION:A picture recorded on a magnetic tape is reproduced and demodulated by a demodulation section 8 and given to a display device 16. Since an output of the demodulation section 8 is given directly to a cathode ray tube 5 from an input coupling circuit 9, the distortion of the transmission system by an RF converter 65 is eliminated. The signals R, G, B or R-Y, B-Y, G-Y and Y signals are given from the demodulation section 8 for the adjustment of white balance. A screen voltage of a picture tube is adjusted by the voltage control of each screen of the R, G, B, the cut-off points of the picture tube are arranged and the difference in the characteristics of three electron guns of the picture tube is corrected by adjusting the drive voltage through the adjustment of the G drive voltage and the B drive voltage to arrange the anode current. |
