During the production of parts made from parts which are contiguous in length, such as cable clamps, the parts are free from each other except for a bridge which constitutes a small portion of the adjoining sides of the parts. Even so, the parts are often so close together that the surface treatment of these sides is difficult. In order to increase the distance between the parts, the bridge and adjoining portions of the parts are subjected to a plastic deformation, advisedly with an embossing tool, so that the parts are pushed apart. <IMAGE> |
