In a driving unit for mechanisms for the adjustment of mechanical operation of watches, particularly clocks operating in a non regulative mode and driven with a reciprocating motion which is sufficiently in accordance with the proper oscillation, watches and clocks which are provided with an electric or electronic rotating drive for adjusting the time for the arm mechanism and for the adjusting device of the non regulative operation, there is provided according to the present invention to arrange between the time regulation rotary drive and the operation adjusting device (1) a cam control (4, 5) which transforms the rotary motion of the time regulation drive (2) into a reciprocating motion for driving the operation adjusting device (1), the pendulum (5) of the cam control (4, 5) being in mesh with the operation adjusting device (1).
