SYSTEM FOR MAKING JUDGEMENT AS TO WHETHER OR NOT MEASURED DATA IS ACCEPTABLE

A system for determining whether or not measured data is acceptable is composed of a digital display measuring device (1) and a data judging apparatus (2) which makes a judgement as to whether or not measured data from the measuring device (1) is acceptable. An upper-limit value (HH) and a lower-limit value (LL) in the allowable dimension range of an object to be measured are set in the data judging apparatus (2). Also, an upper-limit predictive value (H) and a lower-limit predictive value (L) are set on the respective sides of the upper-limit value (HH) and the lower-limit value (LL) which are closer to a reference value. An alarm signal is generated when the number of measured data which is equal to a predetermined number of times of judgement (J1) fall in series within the range between the upper-limit predictive value (H) and the upper-limit value (HH) and within the range between the lower-limit predictive value (L) and the lower-limit value (LL) or when the measured data is beyond either one of the upper-limit value (H) and the lower-limit value (L).
