PURPOSE:To maintain the specified tapping temp. of molten iron and to stabilize the quality of the moltem iron and the condition of a blast furnace by measuring and controlling the temp. of the charging raw material in the peripheral part of the belly part in the stage of operating the blast furnace and adjusting operating conditions in accordance with said temp. CONSTITUTION:It is revealed from the data obtd. in the actual operation that there is a strong positive correlation between the temp. of the charging raw material in the peripheral part of the wall in the belly part of a blast furnace and the temp. of the molten iron in the furnace in the stage of operating said furnace. The raw material temp. in the peripheral part of the belly part is actually measured in the stage of operating the blast furnace and the predicted value pig T of the temp. of the molten iron is estimated from said value by making use of the above-relation. If the predicted value is low in this stage, the temp. BT of the hot wind from a tuyere is increased. If the tapping temp. pig T of the molten iron in this stage is lower than the prescribed temp., the charging ratio DELTACB of the coke is further increased. The value pig T of the temp. of the molten iron by the temp. measurement of the charging raw material in the peripheral part of the belly part increases and the actual tapping temp. pig T increases to the target temp. as well., by which the molten iron of the intended grade is obtd. and the blast furnace is operated in the stable condition free from bridging, etc. |
