PURPOSE:To obtain by a simple operation a polyamide molding having permanent sliding properties and good dimensional stability, by immersing the molding in a specified emulsion. CONSTITUTION:A polyamide molding (e.g., nylon 6 or nylon 66) is immersed in a fluorocarbon resin emulsion. The fluorocarbon resin transfers into the molding together with water and disperses uniformly therein to form a polyamide molding having permanent sliding properties and good dimensional stability. It is possible to apply the treated molding suitably to sliding materials such as gears, cams, and rollers. |
