PURPOSE:To improve acid resistance without detriment to weather resistance, by blending a polyolefin and silica with an ethylene/alpha-olefin/non-conjugated diene copolymer rubber. CONSTITUTION:5-60pts.wt. polyolefin, 1-60pts.wt. white filler composed of silica or a mixture thereof with alumina and 5-50pts.wt. low-molecular polymer having a number-average MW of 600 or above are blended with 100pts.wt. ethylene/alpha-olefin/non-conjugated diene copolymer rubber. When the quantity of the polyolefin is less than 5pts.wt., no satisfactory effect can be obtd., while when it should exceed 60pts.wt., no satisfactory effect can be obtd. and processability is deteriorated. When the quantity of the filler is less than 1pt.wt., no effect can be obtd., while when it exceeds 60pts.wt., also no effect can be obtd. and processability is deteriorated. |
