PURPOSE:To enable the continuation of a testing without interruption for retightening facilitating the loading and unloading by holding a test piece on a pair of openable mounting frames having a clearance at the tip thereof and tightening a lock bolt to impart the mounting frames a resilience. CONSTITUTION:A pair of openable mounting frames 1 and 2 provided on a holder 13 comprises arms 1a and 2a and mounting parts 1b and 2b following them and supported rotatably on a shaft 3. When a reinforcing steel R as test piece is held on the mounting parts 1b and 2b, a clearance 4 is formed at the tip thereof and a spring force is imparted to the mounting parts 1b and 2b by tightening a lock bolt 9. Where a tension test is performed using such a holder 13, the diameter of the reinforcing steel R decreases in the course but the mounting frame 1 moves inward following the decrease in the diameter. This enables the continuation of the testing to the end without retightening on the midway thereof while facilitating the loading and unloading of the test piece. |
