The subject-matter of the application relates to a pivoting device for a working platform linked to a lifting arm via a bracket and guided in parallel. This working platform is suspended approximately in the centre of one side via at least one joint with a joint pivot lying at right angles to the guide planes on the bracket front side remote from the articulation point of the lifting arm. In such a pivoting device, starting from the centre position, the pivoting of the working platform to the left is to be effected about a pivot axis shifted to the left and the pivoting of the working platform to the right is to be effected about a pivot axis shifted to the right with regard to the longitudinal centre plane passing through the lifting arm and the bracket. To this end, the joint is arranged on the bracket at a distance from the centre plane passing through the lifting arm, and a first cantilever beam is arranged thereon, on the outer end of which a second cantilever beam is arranged so as to be pivotable up to an angle of about 90 DEG relative to the first cantilever beam by means of a second joint whose joint pivot is parallel to that of the first joint, in which arrangement the pivot of the second joint, when the first cantilever beam is aligned perpendicularly with the centre plane of the lifting arm, lies in mirror image to that of the first joint with regard to this centre plane, and the platform is fastened to the second cantilever beam.
