PURPOSE:To eliminate ringing or the like by using a delay line as a delay element for noise reduction also in the circuit where the delay line is used to adjust a time difference between a luminance signal and a color signal. CONSTITUTION:Delay lines 22 and 23 whose delay times are set to be equal to a time difference between the luminance signal and the color signal are connected in series to an input terminal 21, and AND circuits 24-26 and OR circuits 27 and 28 are provided. When a signal p(i-1) applied to the terminal 21 includes a noise, outputs of circuits 24 and 25 are set to ''0'' and the output of the circuit 27 is set to ''0'' if p={p(i-1),p(i),p(i+1)}={0,1,0} is true among the signal p(i-1) and signals p(i) and p(i+1) outputted from delay lines 22 and 23. When the output of the circuit 26 is set to ''0'', an output Q(i) of the circuit 28 is ''0'', and the signal p(i) can be ''0''. Thus, p={0,0,0} is true when said logic circuits are connected, and a projecting part of an impulsive signal is eliminated as a noise component. |
