PURPOSE:To prevent misinformation from displaying without fail, by making an indicator into a blank display when an unintent signal period in a signal or any one among those of clock, data and load signals goes up beyond the specified time. CONSTITUTION:A signal to display a message out of a microcomputer 11 in a control part 2 is fed to an indicator 1 via a clock signal line CL, a data line DA and a load signal line LO, while the message is displayed on a display unit 4 via a shift register 8 and a latch circuit 7 upon processing it properly at a microcomputer 9. At this time, whether each of these clock, data and load signals is above an H level or not is judged in order, and when one of these signals is judged to be 'NO' in this judgment, then an unintent signal period in this signal is compared with the setting time. And, when this unintent signal period goes up beyond the setting time, a blanking signals is made to be generated, threrby making the display unit 4 into a blank signal state. |
