<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a monoclonal antibody having specificity to the antigenic determinant of a cancinoembryonic antigen. CONSTITUTION:A mammal such as mouse, rat, etc. is immunized with a required cancinoembryonic antigen (CEA), and the produced cell capable of producing antibody is collected, and fused with an established tumor cell originated from other mammal by conventional method. The obtained fused cells are selected in view of the productivity of the anitibody reactive with the marker antigen using the above CEA as the marker, and the selected fused cells are cloned by conventional method. The obtained monoclones are selected from the viewpoint of the reactivity with the antigen originated from the monoclone and the marker antigen using a marker comprising one or more antigens selected from CEA other than the above CEA and CEA-relating antigens originated from normal adult human.</p> |
