PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a supervisory device by measuring a short-circuited line with a current flowing out of a central supervising device by means of a detection sensor reset by a control signal from the central supervising device. CONSTITUTION:If submersion occurs at a detected point a1, a humidity sensing element (m) of the detection sensor S1 senses the submersion, drives a self-hold relay RY then its contact C is closed. A current (i) flows from a constant current source 1 via both ways communication lines L1, L2 and a detecting voltage e1 is generated between terminals t1 and t2. The presence of submersion at the detection points a1 is recognized from this detection voltage e1.
