<p>A room temp., vulcanizable, silicone rubber compsn. with very low modules comprises (a) 100 pts. wt. silanol end stopped by diorganopolysiloxane having a viscosity of 100-100000 cps at 25≰C, when the organo is a monovalent hydrocarbon radical; (b) 1-5 pts. wt. coupler of formula (I); and (C) 0.01-5 pts. wt. crosslinking agent selected from ketoxime functional silanes or aminoxy functional silanes. In (I), R, R1, R2, and R4 are monovalent C1-8 hydrocarbon radicals, and R3 is a divalent C2-8 hydrocarbon radical. The compsn. is used as a sealant for joints between concrete blocks of a highway.</p> |
