PURPOSE:A thrombolytic promoter, containing a monoclonal antibody capable of suppressing the fibrinolytic inhibitory action of plasmin in human alpha2-plasmin inhibitor as an active constituent, and useful for treating thrombotic diseases. CONSTITUTION:A thrombolytic promoter containing a monoclonal antibody which is monoclonal antibody for hyman alpha2-plasmin inhibitor and capable of suppressing the fibrinolytic inhibitory action of the plasmin in the human alpha2-plasmin inhibitor or a fragment of an antibody having at least a Fab part thereof as an active constituent. The contact thereof with thrombuses caused the specific action on the reactive site of the plasmin in the human alpha2-plasmin inhibitor, resulting in thrombolysis. Therefore, the above-mentioned antibody or fragment thereof can be utilized as a thrombolytic promoter. The antibody can be obtaind by cloning hybridoma cells capable of producing the antibody. |
