Probe has a stylus protruding beyond are of its ends which has a point suitable for touching the object, which separates the sylus from a rest position, and a commutation device connected to the other end of the stylus for producing a change of electrical property when the stylus removes itself from its rest position is claimed. Commutation device comprises at least are point contact defined by a first electrically conducting device, having a non-flat surface, and a second electrical conductor device with a surface generally apposing the non-flat surface of the first device, having a non-flat surface, and a second electrical conductor device with a surface generally opposing the non-flat surface of the first device, are of the devices accompanying the stylus and the other being fixed. The surface of the devices are coated with an electrically conducting material which is chemically inert and homogeneous so as to maintain a precise mechanical repeatability and constant electrical properties for the probe. The devices comprising the body consist of particles of carbide in a metal binder and the coating material is TiN or TiC. |
