Compounds of the formula in which A represents (substituted) aliphatic, cycloaliphatic or phenyl radical, R1 and R2 represent H or alkyl, X represents O or S, R3 represents H, halogen, NO2, CN, (di)alkylamino, (substituted) alkyl, (substituted) alkoxy, (substituted) alkylthio or alkoxycarbonyl, B represents a single chemical bond or a (substituted) methylene or ethylene group, R4 represents a carbonyl group or a functional group derived therefrom, and m represents 0 or 1, are effective herbicides and growth regulators.
