PURPOSE:To make brake operating force uniformly transmittable in a symmetrical manner, by installing an qualizer, distributing the brake operating force to a pair of symmetrical brakes, in a point midway in a Borden wire, while setting up this equalizer at a spot in close vicinity to a steering shaft lying between a pair of symmetrical front wheels. CONSTITUTION:A steering shaft 28 is rotatably held on a frame 10, while its lower end is supported by a bracket 30 of a front axle 18. And, a pair of symmetrical steering front wheels 34 are attached to both ends of the front axle 18, and a cylindrical part 44 being solidified with a front wheel shaft 42 in one is pivoted on a knuckle 40 locked to a left end of the front axle 18 by means of a king pin 46. In this case, an equalizer 74 is attached to a bracket 76 whose both ends are locked to a front-up tube so as to straddle the front of the steering shaft 42. The equalizer 74 is made up of a fulcrum shaft 78 locked to the bracket 76 and a pair of levers pivoted on the fulcrum shaft, and couples a pair of symmetrical Borden wires 90 and 92 to a lower parts of both these levers via a pin. |
