PURPOSE:To reduce the load of an operator by dividing the identification information on all pages read out of the first recording medium for each type of codes to store them and discharging a medium with which the reading and storage are through independently of other media. CONSTITUTION:A size corresponding to all page number 4 is secured in a writing area on an optical disk 13 based on the result of recognition of a character recognizing part 9 for each information number 3. Then the head address of each page is decided, and each address is designated every page number 5. As a result, the sorting and page arranging actions are carried out automatically after the document of the first page is read and recorded on the disk 13 even though the pages are not sorted every information or the pages are disordered. A filed document is discharged to a tray different from those for unfiled documents so as to avoide discharging the document with which the readig process and the recording process to the disk 13 are through to the same place as the first time. In other words, the feed and discharge trays for documents are provided separately from each other. |
