<p>OIL DETECTOR An oil in water detector arrangement wherein the response signal is substantially independent of oil type. Scattered light signals for an incident beam directed into a scatter cell are measured at two scatter angles (21, 22) and a corrected oil level value is calculated from the difference between the two signals. This obviates the need for recalibration of the arrangement for different oils.</p> |
