TWISTING MACHINE FOR WIRE ROD

PURPOSE:To wind a tape at a high speed to a wire rod and to improve working efficiency by disposing a tape winder between a mouthpiece and a primary twister and disposing a yarn winder between the tape winder and the primary twister. CONSTITUTION:The tape of a tape winder 22 is wound on the outside circumference of a wire rod 1 to cover the rod 1 when a pretwister 7 and the flyer 17 of a double-twister 8 are rotationally driven while the wire rod 1 is wound by a winder 9. The wire rod 1 covered with the tape travels through a yarn winder 27 while the wire rod is further twisted, by which strand yarn 26 is wound on the outside circumference of the wire rod 1 to fix the tape. The tape is thus prevented from loosening when the wire rod is untwisted between the primary twister and the secondary twister.
