PURPOSE:To eliminate the need of lagging for cooling tubes and improve their heat transmission efficiency, while avoiding a drain from an excessive cooling, by penetrating cooling tubes through holes bored through a plenty of erected fins spaced in parallel from each other and securing them in position. CONSTITUTION:Groups of tubes comprising a plenty of cooling tubes 2 are sorted out into a plurality of cooling tube bundles 20, 20, 20. Each of cooling tube bundle 20 comprises a cooling tubes 2, a fin 21 and a support plate 22. The cooling tubes 2 projected outwardly from opposite ends of cooling tube bundle 20 are respectively connected with tube-sheets 8, and the support plate 22 is bolted 24 for support to a support frame 23. Thus, as the cooling tube 2 has a plenty of fins 21 provided thereon, a heating surface area can be enlarged several times to provide an increased cooling effect. Besides, a condenser can be constructed in an extremely reduced overall size. Moreover, as the fins 21 are arranged perpendicularly, a drain condensed on the cooling tube 2 is allowed to drop quickly along the fins 21 without forming a water film, and thereby providing cooling tubes 2 with an improved heat transmission efficiency and avoiding the excessive cooling of drain. |
