DISPLAY DEVICE FOR REMAINING AMOUNT OF FUEL FOR AUTOMOBILE

PURPOSE:To always display the remaining amt. of fuel exactly by providing a selecting circuit which determines by which of the output signals from the 1st and 2nd detector for the remaining amt. of fuel the remaining amt is displayed. CONSTITUTION:The 1st detector 10 for the remaining amt. of fuel obtains an electrical signal (g) given by a gauge installed in a fuel tank. The 2nd detector 11 for the amt. of fuel calculates and detects the amt. of the fuel used on the engine side. A selecting circuit 12 selects by which of the signals from the two detectors 10, 11 is a display circuit 13 driven. A gate 20 transmits preferentially either of a gage signal (g) or consumption signal (e) to an output terminal 28 according to the output signal 27 from an OR circuit 23.
