PURPOSE:To prevent abnormal display due to electrostatic charge without requiring any special antistaticizing treatment step by using a liquid crystal compsn. low in specific resistivity. CONSTITUTION:A liquid crystal compsn. having a specific resistivity of <=1X 10<11>OMEGAcm is sealed in to form an electric field effect type liquid crystal display element, such as TN-FEM-LCD. Said element brings about no abnormal display in a voltage level up to about 2kV caused by ordinary friction, etc. |
