<p>PURPOSE:To allow a feeding roller to be accurately positioned permitting a hand feed tray to be easily loaded by allowing sheet materials to be set in a feeding section without releasing the feeding contact pressure in a feeding device equipped with a hand feeding mechanism which is employed by a copying machine and the like. CONSTITUTION:A feeding device equipped with a hand feeding mechanism includes a feeding roller 25 which feeds transfer paper 17 set at a feed position, a hand feed tray 29 which can be displaced both to a position facing the feeding roller 25 as shown by a solid line and to a position parting from the feeding roller 25 as shown by a two dot chain line, and a hand feed intermediate plate 302 which is movably installed in a hand feeding table 30. Moreover, the feeding device is provided with a useful spring section which energizes the hand feed intermediate plate 302 toward the feeding roller 25, a link mechanism which displace the feeding roller 25 linked with the displacement of the hand feed tray 29 and a cam stopper which acts as a strike positioning means which allows the feeding roller to come in contact with the hand feed intermediate plate 302 while the displacement of the feeding roller 25 toward the direction that the roller is energized, is restrained.</p> |
