PURPOSE:To prolong useful life of the titled element while enabling to enhance quality of printed images and printing speed without complicating a driving circuit for the element, by a method wherein resistor-side tips of the first and second electrodes are shaped in a smooth projected shape. CONSTITUTION:The heating resistor element comprises an insulated substrate 4, a resistor 1 provided in a belt form on a part of the substrate 4, and the first electrodes 2 and the second electrodes 3 arranged in plurality on opposite sides of the resistor 1. In the heating resistor element, the tips of the electrodes 2, 3 on the side of the resistor 1 are shaped in a smooth projected shape. Accordingly, the useful life of the heating resistor element can be prolonged while enabling to enhance the quality of printed images and the printing speed without complicating the driving circuit for the element. |
