PURPOSE:To make it possible to smoothly transfer corrugated cardboard boxes, by tilting forward an elevating bed that is mounted thereon with a pallette on which a pile of the corrugated cardboard boxes are arranged, after the topmost row of the pile of the boxes are gently clamped by a clamp means, and by moving the topmost row of the corrugated cardboard boxes toward a discharge conveyor while the above-mentioned condition is maintained. CONSTITUTION:When a pallette P on which a group M of corrugated cardboard boxes are set, is transferred onto an elevating bed 2 at the highest elevated position from an introducing conveyor 1, the elevating bed 2 is lowered down to a position where the lower surface of the topmost row of the corrugated cardboard boxes becomes slightly higher than the top surface of a discharge conveyor 4. Then, the holding member 16 of a clamp mechanism part 17 which has moved to a position above the group M of corrugated cardboard boxes is lowered down to a position surrounding the topmost row of corrugated cardboard boxes, and then this row of corrugated cardboard boxes is clamped by the clamp mechanism section when a clamping plate 27b approaches. Then, after the elevating bed 2 is tilted forward by means of a cylinder 2e, the clamp mechanism section 17 is moved leftward, and therefore, the corrugated boxes in the topmost row are successively slipped down so that they are shifted onto the discharge conveyor 4 without they being caught by other corrugated cardboard boxes in the lower rows. |
