PURPOSE:To make the viscosity of coal slurry as low as possible to enhance the efficiency of conveyance thereof, by forming an opening in a coal slurry conveying pipe, and as well by providing, in this opening, a vibration exciting device including a diaphragm head and a drive section for reciprocating the head. CONSTITUTION:A vibration exciting device 2 is disposed facing to an opening 7 formed in a part of a slurry conveying pipe 1. Further, an electromagnetic coil 3 is arranged around a plunger 4 disposed in the center section of the vibration exciting device 2 with the pump head 5 of the plunger 4 being arranged to be made in contact with the slurry flowing through the above-mentioned pipe 1. Further, a diaphragm 6 is disposed around the pump head 5 to prevent the slurry in the pipe 1 from entering into a gap 9 between the plunger 4 and an outer wall 8. With this arrangement, the slurry in the pipe 1 is vibrated by reciprocating the pump head 5 so that the viscosity of the slurry is made as low as possible to efficiently convey the slurry. |
