<p>PURPOSE:To replace an active power watthour metter and a reactive power watthour meter while maintaining the metering state of in-use power consumption by connecting an insertion plug to a check terminal and then switching the metering of electric power in use automatically. CONSTITUTION:The active power watthour meter 9 and the reactive power watthour meter 10 to be fitted are connected to cassette terminal boards 5 and 7 and then the insertion plug 12 is inserted into the check terminal of a high voltage instrument box. Then, the voltage circuits of an active power watthour meter 2 and a reactive power watthour meter 3 to be replaced are opened automatically and the current circuits are short-circuited, so that the in-use power consumption begins to be metered by the watthour meters 9 and 10. Then, the watthour meters 2 and 3 are detached and connected to cassette terminal boards 6 and 8, so that a priority circuit places the watthour meters 2 and 3 in a metering state. In this state, the watthour meters 9 and 10 are detached from the cassette terminal boards 5 and 7 and fitted to the high voltage instrument box and then the insertion plug 12 is disconnected from, the check terminal 4, so that the watthour meters 9 and 10 begin to meter the in-use power consumption.</p> |
