PURPOSE:To obtain a high-hardness soft-magnetic steel sheet having superior rust resistance and magnetic characteristics by adding specified percentages of C, Si, Cr, N, Al, P and S to Fe. CONSTITUTION:A steel sheet consisting of, by weight, <=0.01%, 1.5-3.5% Si, 5.5-11.5% Cr, <=0.01% N, <=1% Al, <=0.1% P, <=0.005% S and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities is manufactured. In the composition, the total amount of N, S and C is regulated to <=about 0.025%. The steel sheet is provided with superior rust resistance by annealing at a low temp. in a short time and it has >=150 micro-Vickers hardness Hv (kg f) and such hysteresis characteristics as <=0.50T.A/cm product of Br and Hc. |
