PURPOSE:To save fuel in case both of corrections for warm-up and overheat prevention are effected by a method wherein the total increase of the increase for warm-up and the same for overheat prevention is set to the larger value in both increases to correct a basic fuel supplying amount. CONSTITUTION:An electronic control circuit 20, consisting of micro-computers, sets the basic fuel supplying amount by the amount of suction air detected by a flow meter 14 and the revolving number of the engine detected by a rotating angle sensor 18 and effects the correction of the weight increase in accordance with a warm-up weight increase pattern which is set in accordance with a cooling water temperature detected by a sensor 9. The circuit 20 effects also the correction of weight increase in accordance with an overheat preventing weight increase pattern which is set in accordance with an overheating condition. The total weight increase of the warm-up weight increase and the overheat preventing weight increase is set to the larger value in both weight increases and the weight increases for both of warm-up and overheat prevention are effected based on the set total increase. According to this method, unnecessary fuel supply may be cut and the fuel consumption of the engine may be improved even under the condition that both of the corrections are being executed. |
