PURPOSE:To turn off a switching transistor (TR) at a high speed without reference to the pulse width of a control pulse by controlling the switching TR by using a current transformer and a control TR. CONSTITUTION:The collector and emitter of a switching TR12, a load 13 and a power source are connected to the primary winding N1 of a current trasformer 11 in series, the collector and emitter of a control TR15 are connected across the secondary winding N2 of the transformer 11 in parallel, and a diode D16 is connect ed between the winding N2 and the base of the TR12. A control pulse Vs is applied from a terminal 19 to the bases of the TRs 12 and 15 through resistances 17 and 18. When the pulse Vs is a 1, the TRs 12 and 15 turn on to flow the collector current of the TR12 to the load 13 and winding N1 and the collector current of the TR15 to the winding N2. When the pulse Vs is a 0, a current iN2 flowing through the winding N2 draws the base accumulated carrier of the TR12 through the D16 to turn off the TR12, which is to hold itself ON even if the TR15 turns on, at a high speed. |
