One wall of a protective screen for a shower bath is built up from a number of strips (2). Each strip (2) has an eye formed at one end which fits over a corner pole (3). A groove is formed in the bore of the eye in the strips (2) which matches a protuberance on the pole (3) so that the strips can be aligned to form a continuous surface. A slot through the wall of the eye at the end of the strip (2) provides sufficient elasticity to enable the groove to be forced over the protuberance on the pole. This allows the strips to be rotated to form supports for drying clothes when the shower bath is not in use.
