PURPOSE:To enhance controllability of the temperature of engine cooling water, by obtaining uniform temperature distribution of the engine cooling water in a cooling-water tank provided in an engine cooling water circulating system by mixing a cooling or heating medium introduced into the cooling-water tank and the engine cooling water discharged from an engine together to form laminar flow. CONSTITUTION:A cooling-water supply system 30 and a heating-vapor supply system 32 are connected to a cooling-water tank 40 for storing engine cooling water respectively via solenoid valves 34, 36. Further, a thermocouple 52 provided in a supply pipe 20 and a thermocouple 54 provided in a discharge pipe 22 are connected selectively to a PID controller 58 via a changeover switch 56, and the solenoid valves 34, 36 are controlled to obtain a required temperature of cooling water. A shower nozzle 44 for the cooling-water supply system 30 and the heating-vapor supply system 32 and a shower nozzle 62 for cooling water discharged from an engine are provided on the inside of the cooling-water tank 40, and they are mixed together to form laminar flow, so that the temperature of cooling water in the tank 40 can be made uniform. |
