The changes are grasped by a TV camera 8, undergo A/D conversion, and stored in a frame memory 10. The frame memory 10 is accessed by a CPU11, and the position data and the luminance data are obtained. Based on various conditions such as the geometrical position conditions of a light projecting part and a light receiving part and the aberrations of two optical systems, the distances between the body and the light source 6 and the camera 8 are changed variously by using the object body, which is to become a reference. Thus the position relationship for every diffraction spot is obtained.
