PURPOSE:To improve heat resistant cycle life of a matrix by mixing ceramics powder having cleavage property to an electrolyte matrix which is assembled in a fuel cell. CONSTITUTION:Ceramics powder having cleavage property such as fluorine phlogapite is mixed to a matrix using molten carbonate as electrolyte. Lithium zirconium fibers are mixed to them as reinforcing material. When thermal stress is generated in the electrolyte matrix by temperature drop, it is absorbed by the ceramics powder having cleavage property. Generation of whole breakage or penetrating breakage of the electrolyte matrix is prevented. |
